| | | Re: Found in my Garden A close up gill shot of the underside of the cap would have been useful as the features can't really be made out from the one in the general photo.
Superficially, these have the look of Brown Rollrim - Paxillus involutus but I'm by no means certain, and that would only be a best guesstimate.
By the way, WAB operates a policy of non-discussion regarding edibility of fungi, so it is rather naughty to ask if they can be eaten by adding notes to the photos. - Please make note of the sticky threads at the top of the fungi forum index page if considering future posts!
If they are P.involutus, they are very poisonous and have been known to cause death!

| | | Re: Found in my Garden perfectly correct - Paxillus involutus:- the gills discolouring and the way they have been easily removed in one spot to show the yellow flesh underneath are good confirmatory characters
