| | | Is it a Miller ? This one I found in the grass under an oak tree, however i'm not sure if it was growing on a piece of bark under the grass.
At first I was thinking it was a st George's mushroom. My books on the other hand seem to steer me towards a "Miller". It says they smell strongly of meal/uncooked pastry. The one shown is very much like it. So, is it ? |

I wish I had a pound for every time I have recommended making a spore print

| | | Re: Is it a Miller ? Not that I am for one minute suggesting you are thinking of eating it but when the choice is between an edible Miller and a possibly deadly Clitocybe please do not take any id given from the photo as definitive.

Mal | I never would ! I am very new to fungi and have no intention of eating any, unless I have 100% i.d .
Thanks. : |
