| | | Another ID please This one was seen in mixed woodland. Some were solitary and some in twos or threes. Many birch around but did not appear to be particularly associated with them.
Sorry I have no more info. I did particularly notice the orange blotches on the stem. |

It looks to me to be more along the lines of Cortinarius. It has a vague look of young C.armillatus, but doesn't appear to have enough banding to be that.
