Quite a few of these funnel shaped with white gills, short stocky stems:
These maybe Macrolepiota procera? Quite large, biggest was nearly 20 cm across. Cream with palce brown spots, moveable double ring, only thing is stem wasn't snake spotted, so perhaps not so sure. Also, never seen these in conifer woods before...
This thing was massive! Solitary, and unfortunatly it was fallen over so coulnd't get it in situ. Really thick cap, pale cream with pale brown scales Approx 25 cm across the cap, and a very distinct ring.
Suppose these bunches (both growing on rotten wood) are from the honey fungus family...
