these were massive at least a foot tall and 10 inches across  
these were smaller 2 inches tall and an inch across.
first one growing on a roadside edge in a farmyard. second in rough groung between a road and a meadow footpath. third next to a log pile open ground country park. regards. tn.

The first two show what I first thought was Macrolepiota procera but looking closer at the image of you holding it, I see no markings on the stem so either they've disappeared with age or this is Chlorophyllum instead. Did you notice any bruising colour changes?
3, 4 and 5 are all Amanita rubescens.
The last two look like immature Lepiota cristata.

I am happy to go with your suggestions.
