Stubble Rosegill/Volvariella gloiocephala?

Again this was found in the local woods in Gateshead. The girlfriend wouldn't allow me to collect this one because "It's beautiful, leave it alone". So alas all I have is this solitary photo. I'm not entirely convinced it was a Volvariella but it certainly didn't look like an Amanita. So the closest thing I can come up with is the Stubble Rosegill

not up with these new-fangled English names but this looks suspiciously like a (rather over-exposed) Amanita fulva

I think you're right, I'm looking at it in a new light now(terrible pun intended ). I must confess I've very little experience in photography and even less in fungus photography. It also shows hard it is for the inexperienced (i.e myself) to work from a photo. Should have paid more attention in the field I guess (that and ignored the girlfriend and had a much closer inspection)
