field mushroom in a wood ?
I Found 2 fungi in a small wood, growing in leaf litter under a holly tree/bush.
Large almost flat pure white cap 100mm plus,pink gills,with a white stipe again about 100mm with ring.The Only colours visable were pure white stipe/cap and pink gills.pinched and removed an inch from the cap edge.No weaping or colour change.Very dry clean break.
I am pretty sure its field mushroom ?but i am a beginner .are there any other possibilities.Its not destroying angel because of very pink gills.Looked just like the one posted by pmj just.
