An unbelievable amount of Amanita's about today. Not just in the New Forest but more local to me too.
I saw loads of blushers, grey spotted, panthers and fly agarics. I also saw grisettes and false death caps.
Now the funny thing is that this area of the New Forest had been almost void for the previous 4 years of pretty much all amanitas except false death caps which where often found abundant.
After years of waiting i finally got the opportunity to photo these beautiful mushrooms.
Found a troop of panthers consisting of dozens of them, most appeared to have been knocked over - probably by horses and cows.
