Any good hunting spots around Galloway area?

Hey guys! I need some help. My parents went on a country break to Scotland and were looking forwards to some mushroom hunting however they can't find any good places to go to. I was given a mission to find something online for them.

They are in the Galloway area at the moment. Are there any good spots around there? Thank you!

Just head to the woods. There are plenty about in Galloway

I think this is the problem they are hiving. So many places but they can't really walk around for too long. They've explored a few places and found one decent spot but it did not have much verity. Something a bit more specific would be great. I'm not sure if there are any locals on this forum who might help out.
