| | unidentified. are these suillus granulatus?
I found these on Dartmoor under pine, possibly larch. at firts i thought they were suillus granulatus but they seem too pale, also they lack the distinctive speckles at the top of the stem. they have a strong smell of coconuts and are sticky on the cap and stem. the stem and to a lesser extent the cap discolours blue when cut.
If anyone could shed light on what these are i would appreciate it |

The forma has bright yellow flesh the others vary in colour but change little. It looks like a Suillus but I am at a loss to suggest which.

| | | Re: unidentified. are these suillus granulatus? I did wonder as the Chalciporus has lemon yellow flesh with little discolouring, but didn't know how blue. I'll bow down to your superior pored knowledge | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
