ID help please . Boletus impolitus?

Cap was 10 cm round and 4 cm thick. it stood 9 cm high and was growing on Oak leaf litter on the edge of a bridleway.

it resembles a red cracking bolete but sounds as though its almost too large.

At the right hand edge of the cap there looks to be some blue where it has been touched so I would go for B badius.
