Just back from a foray with the North East Fungus Group at Kiplin Hall. I reckon there were a good three dozen or so species identified, but waiting for the full list.
Here are a couple of pics.
This we eventually decided was B.edulis, but it was growing out of a stump!

Are you sure that Bolete is B. edulis? I found what looked like a few B. edulis on a stump this weekend but they turned out to be Tylopilus felleus. T'was only when I got underneath to photograph them and noticed the oddly different stipe with the dark network and subtly pink cap/pore surface that I twigged

Thanks for that suggestion. I've forwarded to others for their thoughts. There was much deliberation at the time.
