so a cluster of the same thing on wood such as yours is clearly a single species (and as Nick has suggested probably a single individual of that single species - like apples on a tree) - hence fungus
alternatively if there were clearly two or more different species present you'd say what are these fungi please?
or have I confused you further?

If you had written 'More unidentified New Forest fungi' no one would have batted an eyelid
As to the fungi, or fungus  , I haven't a clue. Did you take any closer shots?
