Miniature parasol (Lepiota)
I found a few of these growing in a narrow band of deciduous trees alongside a small river. Clearly looks like a Lepiota sp. and the closest match I've seen is L. felina. This is said to grow in coniferous woods and the site was only a few yards from the edge of a plantation.



Spore print- white
Smell - just mushroomy

Any thoughts?

I too would be thinking L. felina here with that coloration

it's not restricted to conifers btw
