Not a champignon - ID request please!

Hi, a newbie here. I've looked over this forum on many occasions and today I have decided to join and say hello

, and humbly request the help of anyone who can help identifying these beauties I found today! They were growing in a fairy ring, in quite dark woodland, in a limestone area. The trees were conifers but I don't know which type. (I have more pics if it would help).

You have a Collybia there! Looks like C. peronata. Commonly known as the 'Wood Woollyfoot' due to the furry lower region of the stipe!

Well the very shallow gills is a trait of a certain few Collybia, C. peronata included. The only other suggestion I was going to make would have been Collybia confluens but this species is generally smaller and grows in 'tufts'. The fact that the 'foot is woolly' ruled out C. confluens for me. I'm still thinking this could possibly be a species of Collybia that I don't know much about- it looks too neat for C. peronata- that's my only qualm.
