Coprinus disseminatus?
These are actually from 2 weekends ago, the sheer number of them on a rotting log (too rotting to ID the tree) caught my eye. They were pretty tiny, max 10mm across the cap. My closeup trying to show the gills is disastrously blurred and I don't think my camera does DoF so apologies for the photo quality.









I'm thinking it must be C disseminatus just because Rogers says it grows in large groups and the other candidate (Psathyrella) didn't mention

I'd agree with your ID.

Pretty much identical images on Rogers Mushrooms website if you want to compare.
