Orbilia delicatula?

Found today growing on what I'm fairly sure was a very rotten felled Birch trunk.

Individual fruitbodies approx 0.5mm in diameter.

Possibly Orbilia delicatula?

Any thoughts on ID much appreciated.

Hi Mike,
Orbilia no doubt, try to make a micro in water in order to see the sporebodies in the living spores and look if the ascustips are thick-walled hemisphaerical or thin walled and some flattened,

Just to update on this.

Following microscopy by North West Fungus Group, (unbeknown to me, a sample was in fact taken during the foray), this has now been identified as Orbilia xanthostigma.
