Another Cortinarius (ID Help Please)

Found yesterday.

Growing directly from soil under Fagus.
Caps to approx 20mm diameter. Stipes to approx 40mm tall.
Distinctive stipe colouration had me thinking of C.torvus (Stocking Webcap) but that one doesn't really fit in other respects.

Any thoughts towards ID much appreciated.

Hello,

to me it seems to be a species from the hinnuleus-complex. The abundant white veil as well as the overall colour and the wide gills are significant for this group. Usually old specimens tend to get blackish streaks. And most of the species have a strong earthy smell.

None of my books has sufficient information, so I think this will be best logged as Cortinarius sp. (probably hinnuleus-complex).
