Question which peziza?
Hi all,
grateful for some help from any peziza experts out there............
This was on a grassed area, near shrubs - does the layering of the cup walls mean P varia, or is it P. badius due to colouration (even though a bit dried!) of dark velvety upper surface and more reddish lower surface??

OK, some help with this question should sort it - if you cut into the flesh of Peziza, is it the same all the way through, or, like this one, has varying different coloured layers?
That should decide if its Layered cup!
