Chuffed to bits to find a couple of Ceps and Bays today having spotted the correct habitat on a recent jog. Seeing all the Cep posts on here inspired me to get off my backside and go have a look. One of the ceps was so big I couldn't fit it in the picture

I could use some help with the other pictured Bolete (bottom right). I think it is an Orange Birch Bolete but I would appreciate a bit more help as it's Brown and not Orange. The stem and dark cap is making me think it looks more like a Slate Bolete?
I also found a Parasol. I've looked through my Rogers to try and id the exact species but the dark Brown stem and cap is throwing me. The inside of the stem is almost stringy with hair. It doesn't have any particular smell and I found it growing in long grass on the edge of the woodland. I'm thinking it's an older Parasol mushroom but could use a better id. I can upload a better picture of the Bolete and Parasol if it helps.
I will be spore printing over night but always like to hear what the exerts say..
The other event of the foray came when I nearly had a heart attack caused by a 3ft plus Grass snake that I nearly stood on. It shot off about a foot infront of me, I hadn't even noticed it. I was just relieved it wasn't an adder. So has anyone else had a close encounter with a snake whilst on a foray?
