a lot of these photo's are over-exposed - is there some way you could sort that in later pics?
anyway, to get things going:
3 is Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca
4 is Spinellus fusiger on a Mycena
and I agree with your suggestions for 6, 7 and 8
cheers
Chris

Thanks for those two, I have been fiddling round with the settings on my camera and hope to get better photos soon - unfortunately I'm just using the camera on my phone :/

Ben | The first species is Xerocomus chrysenteron, the small red fleck-like scales covering the stem are distinctive of this species. The coniferous habitat is also good for this species.

Ben | Hello ben.
I only use my mobile too. I find posting onto this site bleaches most images one or two stops so i now automatically reduce the exposure when taking the shots. Try taking a few at different +/- exposure settings (bracketing), upload to your library and then review your results, it took me a while to get the best out of them but most of my shots are ok for i'd's now. ( others may disagree )

Andy - Cheers - the reason I didn't think it was that was after looking in Jordan it describes the stem as 'red-streaked' rather than the small spot like pigmentation on my species - what do you recon?
Cheers,
