| | | Cheshire Fungus Group Just to let anyone who is interested know - I have just set up the Cheshire Fungus Group. Anyone wishing to join is more than welcome - young or old, inexperienced or experienced this is a chance for all to enjoy fungi and share knowledge.
After a chat with Michael Jordan at the Association of British Fungus Groups it was decided to get cracking ready for next season.
It'll be fun and educating that I can promise. 4 dates are already booked and I'll add a few more closer to the season. If successful then we can plan ahead with unbridled enthusiasm.
thank you. |

| | | Re: Fungal Friends - The Fungus Group of Cheshire and Clwyd The group has changes its name due to similarities with other groups. The final decision is - Fungal Friends - The Fungus Group of Cheshire and Clwyd. In agreement with Michael Jordans request to take in the Clwyd area the group is now up and running. Membership is £5 per annum and welcomes all-comers - young or old/experienced or just a beginner. |

| | | Re: Fungal Friends - The Fungus Group of Cheshire and Clwyd I'd just like to mention that clwyd no longer exists!! It's Flintshire now.
I'm just off to the home page via the link to get a look at what is involved, as I'm still pretty much a newbie and I most likely be unable to take an active role with having the kids to look after most of the time.
Well done on setting up the group and good luck with the whole thing.
