| | | Any suggestions on these fungi please ? Found in mixed mostly broadleaved woodland.Very white cap,largest cap was 35-40mm approx.(Quite a thick stipe about 20-30mm tall).Appeared to be in the leaf litter although possibly dead wood underneath.white ,tight and neat gills underside |

| | | Re: Any suggestions on these fungi please ? There are several possibilities and you would need to know how the gills were attached to the stem to narrow down the options. One specimen appears to have a ring on the stem but it's not clear from the photo if this is a genuine ring or an artifact.
