| | | amanita-echinocephala I found this today, it is in my opinion a perfect examples of amanita-echinocephala, this is in addition to a previous thread of mine where there was some doubt due to the deformity of the specimen... Unidentified Fungus for ID, South downs, woodland
But this one fits the bill perfectly, there are quite a few of these I have found now, and if the others are confirmed, for me at least this is not a rare species...
Oh and Peter I take back what I said in my previous thread about this not being shown in books as an adult, I noticed in your book that you actually have both immature and adult....
