Clavaria? Clavaria?

Clavaria?
Found these in a field near Melrose, thought at first that the farmer had dropped some beansprouts, then realised how unlikely that was. Think they might be Clavaria but no further idea, apologies if they're not fungi at all.

yes they're fungi . . . . almost certainly Clavaria fragilis
