Several Unknown Boletes

Hi,
I found these today all growing close to each other, in long grass on the edge of a wood. I would be grateful if someone could identify them for me.

Hiya, nice selection of Boletes! They're not my strongest genus by far but I'll get the ball rolling.

1. An underside shot would be good for this; if red pored, there's a possibility it could be B. satanus.

2 & 3. No idea

4. Maybe B. luriformis.

5. Boletus radicans possibly!

if image 1 had a light coloured cap and a olive green spore print you could fairly certainly say it was devils bolete - boletus satanis. not a common species though - acording to phillips it is on the red list. it is also one of the largest boletes in the british isles and is rare amongst the boletes in that it is very poisonous

the more i look at image 1 and the extremely swollen red stem the more i thing boletus satanis - also image 4, snap a bit off the cap and if it turns blue very quickly this is almost certainly b.luridoformis. i'm still a beginner myself but trying to learn about boletus as they fascinate me :-)

I did mean B. luridiformis for my 4th suggestion, I wasn't trying to lull myself into believing I'd created a new species, B. luriformis

Good to see you back as well! So many people visit and post a few times and don't come back- it's nice to see return visitors come back and become further ingratiated into the WAB fungi community!

I'll do my best but I am so rusty at the mo! Hopefully it won't take long to get back into the swing of things!

I think that the first could be Boletus legaliae, but from the photo I don't think it's possible to be sure. Have a look at my example from last year...

Thanks Pete. I guess it could be Boletus legaliae. Sorry the photo was not clearer, the camera focused on the grass and I did not spot it until I got home.
