| | | Basidiomycota checklist missing ... I've been trying to access the Basidiomycota Checklist that used to be online at http://www.basidiochecklist.info/Names.asp
It hasn't been available for the last few days. This is the one hosted by Kew, I think. I've checked the Kew website where they say they are in the process of updating the checklist due to be issued in 2011. But I can't wait until then! It has useful info that the database does not include, particularly about its occurence, habitat etc. Has anyone any info on what is happening with it? Or perhaps the website has a problem that they don't know about.

| | | Re: Basidiomycota checklist missing ... Hi Melanie,
All the basidiomycota links are showing as being down using this tool: - Down for everyone or just me?
If Kew run the site, the only recourse might be to contact them by e-mail to try to find out what's going on.
Regards,
Mike. |

Maybe it has been axed by the government .... freebies no longer allowed, we now have to buy the book.

Melanie | perhaps in the spirit of the times we should start charging for doing ID's? oh and remember - never Google the word "Google" - you can break the whole Internet
