| | | Which Bolete? I found this at the weekend. I know plenty of botetes which it isn't, but not sure which it is!
The photo's don't reproduce the colour of the cap very well, which was a vivid 'mustard' colour.
I'm leaning towards Boletus luridus. It bruised blue/green, the pores look right but i can't really see a red network on the stem.
Someone obviously took a fancy to them because they were all gone the next day... humm... I wonder if I'm right... could be one less forager around for a while! |

have to get back on this - but that is simply not B. luridus
so that narrows it down a bit
