can anyone id this please. it was tiny 5mm tall and 3mm dia. I only found it by chance on a twig i picked up to clear some leaf litter from arround a red cracking bolete i wanted to pickie. stem and cap were both yellow i think the twig was birch cant tell you much more it was so small. oh almost forgot thats my little pinkie next to it on the stick. regards tn

| | | Re: tiny fungi for id please I'd expect Pluteus leoninus to have a delicate, cloudy white stipe. This has a stipe concolorous with the cap and is also attached to the cap suggesting a partial veil- that I'd expect from a Hypholoma, probably H. fasciculare |

| | | Re: tiny fungi for id please thanks gents i asked for a name and you gave me three. talk about value for money. what chance have i got if you cant agree. seriously though i appreciate the difficulty with id from only a pickie and scant description. i went back today to see if it had developed/opened but the kids/wildlife got there first. ive looked up all three suggested ids and none realy fit oh well another for the miscelaneus folder. roll on the big ones appearing then hopefully i can get off my stomach to pickie them for a change  once again thanks for your time and effort. tn
