Ken | Ditto here. Blusher have been fruiting for quite a few weeks now, I must have seen thousands, and Larch bolete are rapidly catching up with them.

And just to add, another fringed cup disco on rotting bramble today - anyone help with this poss hymenoscyphus/ lachnum?
Creamy grey with white hairy fringe, very very soft, rubbed off the stem easily.
Very tiny and tough to pic , sorry.
Cheers

Ken | Hymenoscyphus doesn't have hairs; Lachnum virgineum would be the favourite here - very common on dead bramble stems
cheers

| | | Re: molisia/lachnum and milkcaps? Thanks Chris - I had it as L. virgineum from Jordan's book, on blackberry stems etc, it was the only one I could find that fitted so well, except that is for the description of it having a long stem, whilst mine are much flatter to the substrate, cant even see a clear stem, so doubts, doubts, doubts...................
But as with so many, there are variations in the field to the pure descriptions and different stages etc etc.
just underlines again how much there is to learn.
Anyway, thats grand.
Cheers
Ken
