Large Bolete

Last year I found some large boletes in Weardale, Co Durham that I could not really identify:

White bolete?

I have now gone back to the same place and found some more - albeit in better condition:









The larger one in the photo was larger than my rucksack(!) so I left it but I took the smaller one; the one which is nearest on the top photo.This smaller one is about 22cm in diameter. From this and from the fact that my phone - which is there for scale - is 10cm long then the larger one must be in the region of 30 to 35cm in diameter.





I still can't identify what type of bolete this is as nothing seems to fit in terms of size and colouring. Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

These are Boletus edulis.
