ID / Confirmation Help Please

Found all these today and would appreciate any help with confirmations / ID.

No.1 - Inocybe?
Growing directly from soil under Betula / Fagus
Cap sizes up to approx 50mm, stipe heights to approx same.



No.2 - Very much past their sell by date, but am I correct in thinking that these are Orange Birch Bolete - Leccinum versipelle?
They were growing under Betula in mixed woodland.
Cap sizes to approx 25cm across, with stipe heights to approx 20cm.
Stipes easily 50mm across at the base.



No.3 - Any advance on Psathyrella for these?
Cap diameters approx 30mm, stipe lengths approx 60mm.
On fallen rotten branch under Fagus.


No.4 - I think I'm ok with this as Pleurotus cornucopiae?
Not very large, the biggest being approx 50mm tall.
Again growing on rotting trunk amongst Fagus.


Any confirmations / ID's / other, much appreciated as usual.

Inocybe, yes, and an interesting one. May be Inocybe squamata.

2. yes.

3. yes, probably candolleana

4. yes.

1 - I was just trying to convince myself that it was Inocybe flocculosa (based only upon similarity with a photo in Phillips ).

None of my books include I.squamata, but searching for images has brought up some similar looking ones, as well as some distinctly not so similar looking ones - I guess it is another case of microscopy required !!

3 - I have found P.candolleana at this site very recently, but these were just sufficiently different to have me doubting that they would be the same species. Having yourself suggest that species is enough for me.

for the Inocybe, I. flocculosa is even a better suggestion then I. squamata. Though, as you say, microscopy is requiered if you want not be sure what this is (as in most Inocybe).
