mushroom ID please in Wales

These are growing in my parents garden in Wales 29th July 2010.
Please can someone advise which species they are. Thanks.

This is a species of Agaricus, most likely Agaricus campestris -The Field Mushroom. I can see no strong yellowing on any part of of the flesh, especially at the stem base, which is a good sign with regard to the rather toxic species, Agaricus xanthodermus.

I have taken a closer look at these mushrooms and in fact, the stalks are yellowish when crushed and there is a faint chemical smell.

The yellow of Agaricus xanthodermus is an unmistakable bright chrome yellow, nothing like in your photo. Andy is probably right with Field Mushroom
