Is this an Oak Polypore?
It was growing at the base of an oak tree with two other identical specimens in a mixed deciduous woodland in Essex.

| | | Re: Oak Polypore ?? Thanks Mal, I went back today and the top has become a lot darker and crusty and more weepier, it fits the description of Oak Bracket in my field guide.
