| | | Early Bracket I am not too hopeful of any response other than come back in a few weeks with more photos but has anyone seen one of these before
The usual Ganoderma type bracket at this stage is white or dirty cream so its not that or Fomes as far as I can tell

Mal | My guess is that this is an emerging Ganoderma resinaceum. It has that lovely coffee colour when it emerges.

It is in a field with cows so is unlikely to get much bigger before being destroyed.
