Help with bracket ID please ..

I came across this today growing on a stump in a conifer plantation, there are some beech in the area but I have no idea what the stump is. It looks like new growth on old to me.

This shows the stump, there is another smaller version at the base of the stump to the left as well.



These two show it a bit closer ..

I think this will develop into a Ganoderma (austale?). You can see the telltale red/brown stain on the right hand side where the pore surface has been damaged and also the brown spore deposit already showing.
