| | | fungi in the garden i found these in the garden and wondered what they are ,they're about 5" in diameter and a bit past it cheers!

| | | Re: fungi in the garden the discoloration of the bruised gills - and also the way in which those gills easily pull away from the cap (a hint that this gilled fungus is actually a bolete  and well shown here) are good pointers to Paxillus

I'm fine thank you! I'm just allocating more time to work & photography whilst the mycology season isn't in full bloom (though I know you'll kindly put me on the right track there Chris  ) and then when Autumn hits, I'm sure I'll be living here again! Got my lady moving in next week so quite excited about that too!

It's blooming here right now .... too bloomin' blooming. (I've got urgent DIY to do, and it's not getting done ...)
