Hello again!

After an incredibly dry spring and early summer, we're finally getting some rain here in the high country of the North Pennines, so maybe some fungi will finally start poking out of our desiccated soil. Although I haven't seen anything worth mentioning yet (and we NEVER have any of the spring mushrooms), I'm hoping something will start popping up soon. So just a word of warning: I'm back, doubtless again to embarrass myself countless times with ridiculously off-base ID's. Here's hoping for a great season!
