| | | Updated checklist for MycoRec?
Does anyone know where I can get an updated GB checklist in .mdb form? I've tried to search the BMS and Mycorec websites, where it says the checklist will be regularly updated, but it seems to be the 2001 version on there still, so all the new re-groupings are not included. A lot has changed since 2001 ....
The GB Basidiomycota checklist has been updated for us to search, but that is only the basidiomycota and not all the fungi, and that isn't in .mdb form anyway.

Oh well, the .mdb Access 2000 data set doesn't work in Access 1997. I'm now trying the Excel download to convert into Access 1997....
Also found on Fieldmycology.net the 2009 Red List for fungi.

as you know I'm not far off producing an up to date checklist (with synonymy) for Yorkshire, Melanie

Though it won't solve my current problem getting the up-to-date one into MycoRec. I've managed to get the txt file, so am now converting it into Access, so hopefully it will work. It's a bit of a slow process though, needing to name the fields, then look to see if it matches the format of the old one, remembering of course to do a back-up before I crash the lot ....
