| | | Arrhenia sphagnicola
I'm pretty sure I've got this correct but I'm away from my books and micrsocope at the moment. It was found growing in Sphagnum papillosum with Heather ( Calluna vulgaris), Cranberry ( Vaccinium oxycoccus) and Round-leaved Sundew (D rosera rotundifolia) at Malham Tarn. Are there any other suggestions?

| | | Re: Arrhenia sphagnicola It is the spitting image of the one shown on Bioimages, and it also keys out to it in Funga Nordica, just on macro details, though there it has the name A. gerardiana.
And just checking with the Basidio checklist it says "Described from Britain, but poorly known. Accepted here sensu Redhead et al., but FAN3 considers A. sphagnicola sensu stricto a probable synonym of Lichenomphalia ericetorum, preferring O. gerardiana for the current species."
Looks good to me.

great stuff! PS when I have finished my update of the Yorkshire list, updating nomenclature etc (mind-blowing job and keeping me out of the field - tho' down to last 800 or so species now and it will be so useful when completed) I shall send you a detailed list of the Malham area stuff (you probably have older versions, but . . . . ) it's quite a list of goodies
cheers
Chris

Chris | Thanks Chris - I would very much like to see the updated Malham records, I'm trying to get a lot of our older records for all sorts of different groups up to date and this will really help.
