Looking for participants for my Master research

Hello everybody,

I am a student at the University of Kent at Canterbury for a MSc in Ethnobotany. For my final project, I chose to study knowledge about fungi in the UK. I am designing questionnaires to test what and how much knowledge is held by mushromm gatherers, and how this knowledge was acquired.
The aim of my study is to contribute to assess ecological knowledge in Western countries in general.

I would be extremely grateful if you agreed to take part in my research

The questionnaire will be available online (either as an attached file or hosted on a specific website), unless you live near Canterbury and in that case I would be happy to talk to you directly.

I need as many participants as possible, so if you aren't interested but know other mushroom gatherers that might be, it would be nice to pass the word

I need participants aged over 18 and with British nationality.

Anybody here who would like to answer my questionnaire sent by email?

It will help to understand knowledge transmission about fungi in the UK, a tradionally myco-phobic country.
The fashion now is to talk about wild foods, but I think fungi are special, as are fungi lovers!

And very few anthropological studies focus on fungi, so this is your chance to participate!
