Fungi growing from woodchippings

I found this growing out of a wooden border where I chop my firewood.

Any ideas on what it is?

It is a Peziza species. There are several which grow on this habitat. If it is large (~10 cm) then it is probably P. repanda. But whatever it is, you need to use a microscope to be sure, which is the case with most Peziza, although it is often possible to take an educated guess.
