Fungus for ID please...
Saw this one in Kensington Gardens on Saturday afternoon. It was in a fenced off area so this is the only shot I have and there is no view of the stipe...



I'm thinking possibly Lepista sordida?

I think you're right in your assumption, though there is often much doubt cast over the differences between L. sordida and L. nuda. It's definitely Lepista, and it's definitely one of the two aforementioned species mate! Nice late find!
