Need some help on this one, looks familiar but can't pin it down. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Growing on and at base of stump.
Cap dia.4-6cm
Stem ht.5-7cm dia.8mm fibrous, fairly brittle.
One or two younger specimens on stump had a lot darker brown caps.

Looks like it could be Psathyrella piluliformis or multipedata(sp?).

Confirmed my suspicions that it was a Psathyrella, just got to work out which one now.
Had a trip to Micheldever Woods today, the frost over the last few mornings has certainly finished off the fungi. Very little about now, had to search hard to find anything worth photographing.
