? Coriolus versicolor

Hello

Can someone please help me with the identity of this please.
I think it is Coriolus versicolor (Many-zoned Polypore) but I am probably wrong as I know nothing about Fungi and have tried to identify this through the internet and the Collins Complete British Wildlife book

I think if you look underneath your specimen you would find not the pores that would indicate a Trametes (Coriolus) versicolor but the smooth surface of a Stereum hirsutum.

When I looked in the complete british wildlife book I did wonder if it was Stereum hirsutum. But went for Coriolus versicolor due to the size looking more like my specimen in the book. Knew I would get the answer on here though.

Looks like I will be learning plenty if I get to go to Clumber
