Old Oak Invader

Hi,
I am a new member and was wondering if here may be a person willing to share their expertise.
I've recently moved house and found that the big oak tree that I have in my garden has something growing on it. I am unsure what it is, or, whether it is even anything to worry about. A couple of branches have already lost their bark and are in various stages of returning to the main tree trunk but I do not know if this is something unrelated to my inquiry. I have attached some pictures so that a diagnosis may be possible (the 3 marked 'oak').

Hi,

Nothing to worry about. Just lichen on the bark doing what it does naturally.

On one of the other photos you included I can also see the fungus Peniophora quercina growing on the thinner dead branches/twigs, again, a normal occurrence.
