Flightpath Fungi

Out for a walk near Heathrow today, more Flammulina than you could shake a stick at, here is a particularly nice patch





Then saw this one and thought it might be hoof fungus, then remembered the one I found floating around on a log in the Thames last year and on looking it up I'm sure it's Phenillus igniarius, especially as it was growing on a willow on the river bank




And lastly here are some very floppy Pleurotus, I think they must have fruited when the weather warmed up for a bit then got hit by the recent frosts.

o.k., they don't look too fresh anymore, but if you dry them for seasoning soop ....

Was that meant to be seasoning 'soap' or 'soup' Andreas ?

Even if I could scrape the remains off the branch, not sure I'd want to even wash my hands with that!
