| | | Slime mold? Comments appreciated - probably impossible to identify, however would still like an opinion.
Thanks

I've tried magnifying this image and can see no sign of a plasmodial net, so suspect this is a mycelial mat of fungus forming, it's just the sort of thing that if you can revisit over time can prove very interesting.

| | | Re: Slime mold? I've seen that first one before and didnt ID it myself - a crust that develops into a bracket type, with droplets on - JP is right, you probably need to revisit to try and find what it might be. Mine died away, so I lost the chance to find what it was................
The other two look a bit like early common jelly spot, dacrymyces stillatus -but might turn out to form a calocera - so, JP again, return as it gets bigger??
Or have I lost the plot?
Cheers
Ken

I know the spot so will revisit periodically and keep you informed of any changes. Your pointers are very helpful.

| | | Re: Slime mold? Could be Neil, I just don't have the knowledge to comment. I will try and get out to the site in the next two weeks and, if it is still there, see what has developed.
