Possible Collybia butyracea?

I found this at the end of November last year and my first thought was Collybia butyracea but now I`m not so sure. There does not appear to be any sign of an umbo and the stem doesn`t look smooth enough. I`m a bit shaky on gill attachment, can anyone help?.

If it is C.butyracea, it is very odd.

Unfortunately I cannot think of anything else it could be.

Thankyou very much Neil and Nick. Your contributions are very welcome. I`ve looked into the gill attachment as described by Roger Phillips, Michael Jordan and Evans/Kibby. They describe it variously as; sinuate, adnexed or free and notched
