| |  Last waxcap biggest jelly ear?
On a very misty wander on the moors today, found this last snowy (very apt!) waxcap at about 1200ft.
Quite tough snowy's, but its been at least -7 degreesC for over two weeks up there, in deep snow and ice. Own igloo perhaps, keeping it warm.................
is it the highest?
Surely it must be the last record for the year?
Waxcap in December!
Anyone beat that one? 
Then found the biggest Jelly ear I have seen - about 7'' across, in a nice sheltered, not disturbed spot.
Is that the biggest?

Actually, it WAS from a christmas cracker - it was all I had on me apart from a fiver.............
